Coming back after a leave of absence...

Post by DawnrazorDCLXVI » Thu Aug 09, 2018 7:58 pm

I have two questions, I am pretty rusty on my controls, so here goes: 1) Is there any way to hide your level/class/title on the "who" screen? 2) Is there any way to compare two items to see which has the better stats? 3) What happened to sneak and hide?

Thanks for help in advance.

1) not that I know of, but I'm still kinda coming back myself.
2) you can "id" any item and it works like the old identify spell
3) pretty sure classes that use these skills get them automatically now at level 1, same with camo and wilderness movement

edit: also there are a bunch of people in the discord channel who are around to ask questions and chat with

Thanks! And one more question.. if we buy a weapon at the shop that is too heavy for us, is it possible to refund it at full cost?

Or better yet, to tell whether we can use an item without first buying it?

To return an item that is going to be too heavy you simply need to type itemreturn. I would identify(or is it inspect?) the items you buy as well to make sure that you arent trying to wield/wear something that is anti your alignment. After all, if you drop it you can't return it.

Thanks! You guys are super helpful. I'll try not to take up too much thread space with questions, I'll add to this thread if I need any more hints.

Hey guys, I've got another question:

I wanted to know how Path of the Geomancer in Earth compared in terms of damage output to Path of the Flickering Skies in Air. Also, I am really curious about Path of the Wakened Stone: Has anyone played it? How does it compare to the other two? Which of these three classes is the most effective? Thanks in advance.

Also, I assume stonefist combos with brittleform?

Earth and air scholars are kind of broken right now and not in a fun way. I hear spirit scholar is okay mechanically if you take a specific eternal dawn combo, but it's still in need of an overhaul like earth and air. You'll have a better time with the more recently updated spheres: fire, water, and void. Earth, air, and spirit templars are fine, too.
