* Ilineya of house Ridos, Aelin Spirit Templar and follower of Nariel (they/them)
Ilineya was a chronically tired hunter of void magi but frankly was really around to fuck forever and party. Started adventuring after a rager with some other spirit templars and a one-night stand with the god they follow.
* Sana of house Iathe, Aelin Necromancer (she/they) - The Lonely Revenant
Sana just wanted friends, and all the time she needed to be with them. A real nerd for the necromantic arts, and historically a big fan of the infamous Mazibel Zaulfung. A large portion of her undead eternity was spent depressed and hunted. She's probably still around in some aspect.
* Athe of house Judessa, Aelin Thief and touched by Alil (she/her)
Honestly I've forgotten a lot about Athe, but she was transed by Alil and uhhh.. was a delinquent.
* Irilae of house Isayel, Aelin Flameheart and Chosen of Alil (he/she/they) - The Glorious Conflagration
My first plot-involved character. Irilae was a pyromaniac asshole who didn't like other people at the start, and managed to overcome a lot of the hurdles of his shitty childhood after her only friend disappeared. The sigil storyline wasn't my best work (on my end), but I loved it nonetheless. Absolutely still around, probably fucking or making use of their Daphoan house heritage to get shitfaced a lot.
* Kasira ael ta Iana (formerly Adavausii-Rasel of house Laeru), Aelin Assassin and Chosen of Serachel (they/them) - Godslayer, Enemy of Earendam, Slayer of Vaelania, The Recalcitrant, The Blood-Soaked Hound, The Hero of Twilight.
The titles should tell you a lot. They lived, they suffered, they died horrifically. A story I won't forget anytime soon.

A psionicist may use this focus to sift through the accumulated knowledge of their target and claim a skill as their own. They may only appropriate skills and other foci (that is: character powers that appear under the 'skills' or 'abilities' lists).

Having spent so long shaping their thought patterns into forms harmonious to psionics, they are unable to seize spells of any sort; they are now too alien to comprehend. Skills that directly relate to magic (for example, linear amplification) cannot be borrowed, either. Similarly, the meditative state involved in using sword-forms is just different enough as to be dissonant to psionic focus. Similarly, it is just not possible to borrow skills like warpath and berserk that involve relinquishing all mental control.

The reuse delay applies only after being unfocused. It is only possible to tap a single skill at a time. House powers cannot be tapped. This focus may be used remotely over a mindlink, and is not inherently aggressive when used on a groupmate. It may, however, be rude to do so without permission.
When used on an object of light type, this spell increases the duration of the light remaining. The object need not be held in inventory; it may simply be in the room with the caster. Objects that are not of type light may not be targeted by this spell; something that is simply glowing is not sufficient.

A devil is a sapient being of pure elemental fire, created by Bayyal upon Its release from the Grave of Storms. Their personalities vary widely, from nominally friendly to murderous, but all are concerned with the spread of destruction in its purest and most direct form. They are known to offer power to mortals who appeal to them and demand nothing in return for granting such destructive power; it is enough to a devil to know it will be used.
Spirit scholars are given the option of choosing to diversify their studies to include a secondary sphere. For Spirit majors, their minor sphere will flavor the manifestation and/or avatar they create; provide alternate functionality to class spells; or duplicate active spells to their bond target.
Archery is a ranged weapon skill, functioning similarly to melee weapons. To use archery, a character must first nock an arrow, and then fire it with the shoot command. Arrows may be purchased throughout Avendar, or created by rangers using wildcraft. The distance an arrow can be fired is determined by the range modifier on both the bow and arrow being used. Archery finds the closest possible target that matches the argument you supply; it searches for a matching target in your current room before any direction you supply.

Arrows can be imbued with magic spells or secondary effects, which take effect when the arrow hits its target. Additionally, arrows may be branded with elemental spells, such as lightning brand, in the same way a melee weapon can.

If used in combat, one specifies the arrow one is using; it is not possible to fire at targets in other rooms while fighting. One may draw directly from a quiver.
In order to use darts, envenom weapons, or to taint food or water, a specialized vial of poison is required. Preparing these vials of poison requires the use of a catalyst, which will effect the duration of the taint, venom, or the dart (the more catalyst used, the more powerful the poison). Catalyst can typically be purchased by the vial from one's guildmaster. There is no limit beyond the assassin's budget to how many vials of catalyst may be used.

The detoxify skill and certain capabilities of Nightfall magi provide a resistance to these poisons, and assassins themselves carry immunity to their own works.
The most basic of poisoning skills taught to assassins, envenom may be used to poison a weapon carried by the assassin, so long as that item is not an instrument of blunt force or imbued with certain rare magical effects (such as being innately poisonous). The poison will wear off once the poison has been delivered to its target. This skill may indeed be used upon arrows.

The poisons used by this skill are those created in advance via the prepare skill and no others. In general, there is a lessened chance of delivering the effect of a poison via envenom.
Dual wielding is the ability to use an additional weapon in the character's offhand. Weapons being dual wielded will suffer a slight penalty in the amount of damage and have a lesser chance of iterative attacks. Weapon weight must be considered with this skill, as only weapons lighter then the one being wielded in the main hand are capable of being dual wielded. Swordmasters are exempt from this restriction, and can dual wield nearly any two swords they can hold. Certain unwieldy combinations of weapons will be more awkward to defend oneself with.

Large-sized races, such as the chaja or alatharya, are able to hold certain kinds of two-handed weapons with one hand, and dual wield them. The balance of spears, staves, and polearms are such that this is not possible for these weapons.

The ambidextrous trait, available upon creation and given to gladiators and swordmasters automatically, reduces but does not remove the weight restrictions (though swordmasters have none in either case).
