Syntax: pray <message>

This command sends a message to all staff members presently in Avendar. You
may use the command for one of two reasons:

1. Roleplay

This roleplayed communication can serve as a "heads up" to the staff about
your worship of a deity, drawing notice to a particular act of worship,
sacrifice, or other notable RP moment that reflect your adherence to the
deity's tenets. This is particular encouraged if your character is
attempting to garner a deity's special favor or sigil.

Naturally, you should include the name of the deity to whom you pray within
the text of the prayer message.

2. Contact the Staff
We appreciate your help in bring problems to our attention so that we can all
enjoy a high-quality, fun, and fair game experience. You may also send a note
to IMMORTAL if preferred (or if you receive no response to your prayer).

pray about: equipment requests, restores or heals, to be rescued if
you are lost and/or stuck, being PKilled or looted
(unless multikilling is in question), etc. The staff
does not become involved in such situations.

DO pray about: bugs, players violating rules, if you are in an apparently
off-limits OOC area, sudden changes to stats that shouldn't
have happened, etc.

The staff can also respond to general questions about the game, but please
make some effort to answer them yourself via the newbie channel, the
helpfiles, or the website, before taking the staff's time away from their
other efforts.

Two final notes about pray:
- DO NOT SPAM prays, for whatever reason.
- the syntax for 'praying for transportation' is "recall"
