After being cast, the effects of this spell will occur in two separate stages,
occurring moments apart. First, the target will be bound to the earth (if they
were flying). Second, the target will find the ground around their feet turned
to mud; they will receive penalties to their movement and find themself
frequently slipping in this mud.

The spell is [[Saves|saved]] against at the cast, not on the stages. The caster may act
freely while this spell is in progress. Should the caster use a fire spell of
any sort while the spell is in progress, this will disrupt it and prevent any
remaining stages from occurring.
