The restrictions on coordinating signing on have been loosened significantly. You may plan to sign on with your friends at roughly the same time--provided you do log in without your friends at other times. We want people to play together! We don't want people to be in unkillable permagroups.

Plenty of such coordination goes on in the discord chat: http://discord.gg/avendar, where people have successfully managed to schedule playdates. While the forums are a more staid format, they are much easier to check at a glance, hence this post.
