This spell makes its target's body turn glassy and brittle, making them more susceptible to blunt force, and more resistant to slashing blows. This will increase over a series of stages, starting a small amount at first and becoming substantial over time.
The caster may act freely while this spell is in progress. Should the caster use a fire spell of any sort while the spell is in progress, this will disrupt it and prevent any remaining stages from occurring.
