This skill allows a spirit scholar to detect dark resonances around them in the form of red or black auras - this applies to players, mobiles, and items. Furthermore, the scholar will be alerted to a dark presence when players or mobiles with such resonances draw near (whether this is such a presence entering a room the scholar is in or vice versa), even while they are asleep.
