Cross is an unarmed maneuver used to briefly incapacitate an opponent. When successful, cross will penalize an opponent's skill percent and hitroll. When used by a Gladiator, it will also allow them to feint with their weapon when they cross based on their upstart's panache skill. When used by a swordmaster, there is a chance to also lag their opponent based on their Grace skill.
