This skill allows a spirit scholar to see shades within a room. Furthermore, it grants a small caster level bonus - and a chance to beckon shades - when casting spirit-sphere spells.
Finally, spirit scholars with this skill are capable of perceiving demon-inhabited objects, demon-possesed people, and void scholars using the voidwalk spell.
