Avendar is a persistent text-based online multiplayer RPG, also known as a MUD. If you are unfamiliar with MUDs, imagine a tabletop roleplaying game that players can drop into whenever they like, where the mechanics and rules are adjudicated by the game automatically and GameMasters exist to facilitate interaction and tell stories.
The world of Avendar is a fully unique high fantasy setting, featuring:
- Ten fully unique playable species, each with their own original history and culture within the setting
- Sixty unique playable classes, each with their own unique play-style and place within the setting
- A pantheon of diverse gods that work to actively shape the world and their chosen people
- A massive and unique world within a strange and hostile multiverse, waiting for you to make your mark.
