Cohort's Vengeance

Those who slay a mage under the patronage of the seraph Pharul will find that the heavenly host does not take kindly to losing one of their own. For some time after the kill, the slayer will be hunted by seraphim come to take vengeance for the fallen; these will be in addition to any guardian sent as a result of the avenging seraph spell, though are generally not quite so powerful. These holy warriors will continue to appear, one at a time, until the host gives up to turn its attentions elsewhere, or the killer is himself slain.
