In the real world, smoking is hazardous to your health. In Avendar, smoking makes you look cool and more attractive to members of any of your preferred gender(s)*. This skill may be gained by finding any of the cigarettes, cigars, herbal cigarettes, pipes, herbal pipes, or hookahs throughout the world and simply making use of it. Hookahs are non-portable and usage requires the 'inhale' command-- all others must be held in your hand and smoked with 'puff'.

There are no long-term ill effects associated with smoking in Avendar, though smoking assorted substances may well have some effect upon the smoker. Vendors exist throughout the world, and tobacconists will be able to assist characters at practicing the skill-- however, they can only impart basic technique. One's lungs will only grow used to the habit with time and practical exercises. * Not a guarantee.
