Bier of Unmaking

Duration (bier): (level / 2) hoursDuration (effect): 0 - 3400 hours, varies by victim level

Syntax: cast 'bier of unmaking'

Those who pledge their very souls to the Void Dragon learn this spell, from which they may draw power from Unbeing. This working creates in the room a shadowy bier; any adventurers who die in this room will spill their blood upon the altar, empowering the caster. The effects of this unmaking will resonate with the caster for a considerable time, persisting past death itself. The amount of this power, which may only be drawn from adventurers, is dependent on the level of the sacrifice. Each caster may be empowered only once per victim; should the victim fall again on one of the caster's biers, the newly-gained power will replace (and renew) the previous.
