Naturalists possess the ability to tan the hides from corpses they find or create. These hides may be worn as armor, and improve in quality as the maker gains in level. Depending on the abilities or race of the original owner of the hide, the armor will have different qualities. In general, only physical statistics can be improved by such armor, and it is always possible to gain hit points
