TECHNIQUE

Sasem refers to a series of maneuvers created and perfected by Vashel the Mistress of War, intended to provoke an opponent into positions that can then be exploited in a number of ways. During combat, a swordmaster may begin accumulating charges with the TECHNIQUE CHARGE command, with the number of charges a swordmaster can accumulate being limited based on skill and level. When the TECHNIQUE command is then used with no argument, they will execute a maneuver that changes based on the number of charges accumulated to that point. If the swordmaster leaves combat, they will lose their charges. At a high enough skill percent, a swordmaster will no longer telegraph to others that they are charging their sasem technique, allowing for sudden stealth attacks.
