Duration: Permanent

Minimum Cost: 150 mana

Range: Inventory Object

Syntax: cast 'overcharge' <wand>

Through the careful application of minor lightning magics, a scholar of air may overcharge a wand, slightly increasing the effective spell level contained within and granting it an additional charge. These magics are not without risk, however -- it is quite possible for the mage to miscalculate the charge, rendering the wand completely worthless. This risk increases drastically the more overcharges are attempted on the same wand. Facility with the spell can help slightly lessen -- but not remove -- the odds of failure.
