Radiate Aura

A mage guided by the seraph-mother Chel'latar may find in herself an aspect of the archangel's divine glow, gaining the ability to radiate certain auras of energy. In particular, she may radiate auras of soothing, genesis, or empathy. The most draining of these to maintain is the aura of soothing, which will automatically attempt to calm any who fight the mage in a fashion similar to the pacify spell. The next most draining is the aura of genesis, which works on the caster herself to reduce the time required in between castings of the crystallize aether spell. The least draining -- at least to raw mana -- of these is the aura of empathy, which transfers a portion of all damage taken by any groupmate to the caster. The scholar should take care when using this aura, as excessive empathy could kill her.
