With this mighty roar, a mage who has chosen as patron the seraph Levishul may herald the coming of the celestial host, a prospect extraordinarily disconcerting to those with malice in their hearts. Neutral and good characters are unaffected by such a warning, as are undead, those with the brave trait, and particularly fearsome monsters. Demons, including possessed void templars, are particularly susceptible to fear from this holy roar, having greater difficulty in saving against it and taking larger penalties when they do not. Should an evildoer fail to save against such preternatural fear, they will find themselves too shaken to perform their skills with full facility. Demons bounds in weapons held by the target will become only partially-effective as they cower in terror, and the target may lose an attack on the following round or even be seized with such panic as to try to flee. Successive roars will both refresh the skill penalty and increase it, though only to a point.
