Burning Wisp

Applying the distracting magics of air with the mesmerizing forces of fire comes very naturally to a student of both, a fact evident in the Burning Wisp spell. With this simple but effective conjuration, a scholar summons a small, burning wisp of heat to float about her, distracting foes in combat and causing their attacks to miss. The enchanted wisp will furthermore send out a small scorching jet of flame from time to time, helping to keep the caster's opponents on their toes.
