Nightfears

The nightfears spell afflicts the target with horrific nightmares, rendering them unable to properly sleep or rest. The target of this spell need not be in the same room as the caster, provided the caster carries an item once owned by the target and is able to see them. Once afflicted by a nightmare, the victim will be unable to sleep or rest properly for the duration of the spell. In addition, the victim will suffer from a curse, as per the curse spell.
