Tied through power and skill to the Iron City of Logor, scholars of Void and Earth learn to bind Logorin Taskmasters into their weapons. This binding might only be attempted at night, and the weapon may not be blessed or unwieldable by dark-hearted people. Indeed, the caster must have at least a faint red aura.
Once bound, this weapon will do negative damage, and has a small chance with each blow to instill a vulnerability to such damage to the foe; the vulnerability will be greater for a wielder with a redder aura. This can occur multiple times against the same target.
This weapon will grow more powerful through usage, similarly to an earth templar's devoted weapon, though it may only do so thirteen times. As it improves, the chance to cause the vulnerability will increase. The weapon will eventually change the nature of its damage to that of defilement (and the vulnerability will as well), and benefits to strength, hitroll, and damroll will be gained. The final bonus will ensure the weapon will be more effective when used to parry.
This spell requires that the Logorin Star be scribed in mud for the binding to succeed; it will be consumed with the casting.
