Mantle of Earth

This spell drapes the caster in a mantle of earth, which provides various beneficial effects. First, the caster will be able to cast multiple earth spells outside of their usual terrains, but doing so will usually draw on their mantle. Second, it provides protection from arrows and partial protection from the skills CLEAVE, CYCLONE, EXECUTIONER'S STRIKE, HEW, IMPALE, INERTIAL STRIKE, PENETRATING BLOW, PUMMEL, and WHIRL. Each strike blocked will chip away at the mantle, which can dispel it. And finally, the mantle of earth will provide bonuses to the caster's hitroll, damage roll, resistance to illusion, and armor class.
